Tahirih Justice Center’s Founder and Executive Director Layli Miller-Muro has been selected as an honoree in the 2nd Annual Harvard Law International Women’s Day Portrait Exhibit. She joins a dynamic group of women leaders who are at the forefront of their fields in law and policy around the world.
The Harvard Law and International Development Society and the Harvard Women’s Law Association organized the exhibit in honor of International Women’s Day. Honorees were nominated by Harvard Law School students, faculty, and staff, and their portraits will be displayed March 2-13 in Wasserstein Hall at Harvard Law School.
Among the honorees are Ann Burroughs, Board Chair of Amnesty International USA, and Valerie Biden Owens, Executive Vice President of Joe Slade White & Company, both of whom will be presenting a keynote speech at the exhibit’s recognition ceremony on March 10, 2015 at Harvard Law School.
“I am truly humbled by the recognition and honored to be named among so many incredible women.” Miller-Muro said.
