In a letter to the editor of the New York Times, Tahirih Senior Immigration Policy Counsel, Irena Sullivan, responded to the administration’s move to detain migrant families indefinitely while they wait for their asylum cases to move forward.

Bloomberg quoted Tahirih Senior Immigration Policy Counsel, Irena Sullivan, in an article about the administration’s plan to change a rule regarding how long migrant families may be detained for.

Law360 reported on several immigrant advocacy groups’ efforts to block the administration’s recent policy that would bar most migrants from applying for asylum at the southern border, with limited exceptions.

Tahirih Bay Area Executive Director Morgan Weibel commented on the administration’s move to extend detention times for immigrant families, as well as its overall policy of deterrence.
