Let’s celebrate! This December 31 – the final day of 2017 – join us for our 20 For 20 For 20 Campaign! The goal: raise $20K in 20 hours to celebrate 20 years.
Since 1997, Tahirih has made it its mission to protect courageous immigrant women and girls who demand freedom from violence.
Why do we do it? Because we believe that all women and girls have the right to live their lives in safety and with dignity. We believe that the achievement of full equality between women and men is necessary for society to progress. And we believe in the strength, resilience, and promise of the women and girls we serve.
Over the past 20 years, Tahirih has answered more than 22,000 pleas for help from women and girls all over the world who refuse to live even one more day in the face of violence. They are saying no more. And they are changing the world one person, one family, and one community at a time.
