“This song is for my mom.”
If you are searching for some inspiration, watch this heartfelt live performance from Andy Grammer. The talented singer-song writer dedicated his song, “Ladies,” to his late mother, Kathy Grammer, at a fundraiser for Tahirih Justice Center.
Grammer performed at Tahirih’s 19th Annual Gala on April 14, 2016, to support brave women and girls who refuse to be victims of violence. Andy cites his mom as his inspiration to “step up” in the fight to end violence against women.
He called on men all over the world to do the same “because the equality of men and women still has got a ways to go.”
