This year, Tahirih is excited to participate in #GivingTuesday – a global day of giving fueled by the power of community and social action, and made possible by individuals, organizations, families, businesses, and people like you around the world.
Together, we will join a movement that crosses borders to give gifts of hope and encouragement, and promotes social justice. Last year, #GivingTuesday raised $274 million for nonprofits around the world! This movement matters and is picking up global speed!
At Tahirih, we are dedicated to serving and empowering courageous immigrant women and girls who refuse to be victims of violence. But currently, we can serve only 1 out of every 10 who reaches out to us for help.
