Tahirih is excited to announce the release of Torn Apart: Separated at the Border, a new HBO documentary featuring Tahirih Atlanta client, Vilma Carrillo, and her daughter Yeisvi. Starting on Thursday October 10, 2019, the documentary will be available to stream on HBO.
To help viewers better understand and discuss the impact of recent policies that are eroding legal protections for immigrant women and girls seeking safety from gender-based violence, Tahirih has developed the following watch guide to accompany the documentary:
