ABC News Radio spoke to experts including Tahirih’s Chief of Policy, Archi Pyati, about the administration’s pivot from family separation to family detention.
“We’re not fooled by this bait and switch,” said Pyati. “It was barbaric to separate children from their parents. Family detention is also inhumane and harmful to children. Prison is no place for kids.”
