Katherine (Kady) Ashley is a partner in the Washington, DC office of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, specializing in M&A and general corporate and securities law. Kady advises public and private companies in sales, acquisitions, minority investments, hostile and friendly transactions, stock and asset transactions, proxy contests, auctions, joint ventures and other strategic transactions. Kady started at Skadden in 1996, following a judicial clerkship with the Honorable Ernest Torres on the Federal District Court for the District of Rhode Island.
Kady co-chairs Skadden’s Global Women’s Initiatives Committee and the DC office’s Hiring Committee. She also serves on the firm’s Ethics Committee and on the Washington, D.C. office’s Diversity Committee.
